Fall 2009 Leaf Disposal Program
In an effort to assist Palmer residents with a location to dispose of their leaves and yard debris, the DPW will collect bagged leaves at the Burleigh Park Leaf Pit on Old Warren Road on SIX WEEKENDS this fall.

The Leaf Pit will be open to accept Leaves and Yard Debris on the following dates and times:

REGULATIONS/RESTRICTIONS:

  • All leaves and yard debris MUST BE BAGGED in paper lawn bags.
  • NO PLASTIC BAGS ACCEPTED
  • PAPER BAGS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
  • Palmer residents must show an ID or vehicle registration to attendant or will be turned away
  • NO COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS DISPOSAL ALLOWED. No commercial vehicles permitted.
  • No bags will be accepted at the DPW Facility at 15 Bridge Street.
